I've been accepted to dental school!

On December 1st I received the best news of my life thus far. I interviewed at three dental schools between october and mid november. The way it works is that Dec 1st is the first official day all dental schools can notify applicants of their acceptance. This is how my day went. I woke up early that morning and checked my email, nothing. I was also constantly checking my phone and making sure it was on loud (some schools call you). I was a little sad so I decided to stop being so impatient and take a nap. I woke up from my nap and bam,  I got an email at 10 am from a school that I interviewed at, saying congratulations, you've been accepted! I was ecstatic! I even shed a tear. I've dreamt of being a dentist since the 10th grade ( approx 8 years) and that moment was really a dream come true. I was still waiting on decisions from the other two schools, anxiously. Time passed quickly and it was almost 3 pm. I was losing hope that I would hear from my dream school while Sione kept reassuring me that there was still time. We got off the phone and I got a bite to eat, sat in my bed and was watching Braxton Family Values (lol). I had gotten a few calls that day and everytime I would hear the phone ring I became very anxious until I knew who it was. While I was watching the show, I heard my phone ring. I took me one second to grab my phone and check who it was. I saw a 415 area code, which is the area code of my dream school!! My heat skipped a beat and I answered. Wow, is all I thought. It was an amazing and surreal moment to hear the dean of my dream school tell me they want me to go to their school! I will never forget that day and thats why I write about it. I am overly excited to start this new phase in my life, I know its going to be great. If you're wondering about the third school, well yesterday I got a letter in the mail from them. Because it was in a standard envelope , I automatically assumed it was a rejection letter. I opened it as fast as I could. It turns out it wasn't a rejection letter! I was waitlisted and shocked because I thought the interview went badly (i cried during, lol). So out of three interviews I got two acceptances and one waitlist, not bad in my books! But I am most definitly going to my dream school in SF!!!!!!!! I love life, and remember dreams do come true if you believe in yourself.
